We are thinking through outreach strategies along two axis: Online vs In-Person, and Individual vs Group. For example:
As an INDIVIDUAL, you can:
Be intentional to get deeper with those you play games with online (whether they are friends or randoms).
Start up conversations over lunch about the lore of a popular game and how it relates to worldview.
Go through our 4-Day Bible Plan App and invite friends to join you.
Take a friend and join a gaming club at your school to be intentional there.
Have friends over for couch games and ask them about life over pizza.
As a GROUP of us collaborate, other doors open up:
Head out in pairs with Switches on tripods, playing games with passersby while asking them survey questions
Host a casual or competitive gaming event that also either presents the gospel outright or invites people into deeper followup
Start up a Discover Jesus Bible study designed with gamers in mind
Join our team of explorers who head into VR each week to start up spiritual conversations
Help us build a Discord server with non-toxic community to play and grow together
Generate and share content that glorifies God and fascinates gamers
