The Creative’s Journey is a 9-month mentoring programme that seeks to connect Christian Creatives to a life-giving community of like-minded sojourners, providing spiritual and creative support to explore how art and faith come together, discover God’s call for creativity, and be empowered to create works for Him that awaken the hearts of men.

What does a Creative’s journey look like?

Is it merely one that takes you on a path through art school, with you subsequently landing a job in the creative industry?

For most, that journey isn’t linear. It is often filled with challenges, surprises, chanced encounters and even detours. Sometimes, the journey feels lonely and you struggle to make sense of who you are, where you are headed or how you are to grow.

It may seem unpredictable, or even random, but God already has a plan for you (the Creative). And there are people who have gone ahead on this path who could listen with gentle understanding, support with practical guidance and inspire with godly intention.

The Creative's Journey seeks to be the place for you to traverse this path together with others.

Deepen Your Faith:

Deepen Your Faith: Engage in a book study on Images & Idols: Creativity for the Christian Life and explore the intersection of faith and creativity with your mentor group.

Build Relationships:

Connect with experienced mentors and fellow creatives in a supportive community throughout the 9 months.

Exposure

Gain Practical Experience:

Immerse yourself either in a mission trip, an apprenticeship, or a local project.

Duration varies for each type of project.

Expand Your Horizons:

Explore diverse creative disciplines and discover new passions.

Final Project

Bring Your Vision to Life:

Develop and execute a creative project (either collaborative or individual) that aligns with your unique gifts and passions.

Receive Support:

Receive ongoing guidance from mentors as you bring your project to fruition.

Crea Gatherings provide a platform for creatives to connect, learn, and collaborate with others.

Participants can build relationships with peers outside their mentor groups, gain insights from industry experts, and explore the intersection of faith and creativity across various disciplines.
