Hello Students & Families,

I'll be using this space to communicate with you, along with Google Classroom & Zoom (a video conferencing tool) during this time of distance teaching & learning. The students are already familiar with Classroom and will need to check it daily for updates. Invites to Zoom meetings will be sent to students' school email addresses, so please remember to check email each day, as well! I expect to touch base with students every day their class would normally meet, at least at first. Once we get a routine established, we can reevaluate the need for daily contact.

For now, HS teachers intend to stick with the Base Camp/Trek schedule as it is. That means March 30 will begin a week of Base Camp classes. Then April 7 kicks of two weeks of Treks.

There are sure to be hiccups along the way as we figure out this new (hopefully temporary) normal. We'll all have to be patient with each other, but I have confidence we'll figure things out! :-) The kids will get used to this WAY faster than us teachers, no doubt! :-P

I'm very much forward to seeing my students again--at least on a screen--next week!
