Hello! My name is Ms. Katelyn Marx. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and let you know how excited and honored I feel to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year.

This is an exciting time for you and your child! I know that this school year will be one filled with exploration and wonderful learning opportunities. I believe in making learning fun and also meaningful. The skills that we practice everyday will become the building blocks for your child’s future school success.  During this school year, we will encourage students to become more independent learners and create a positive, caring classroom environment!

I am so excited to have your child in my class this year and I can’t wait to start learning all about one another! To start this process, please take a moment to complete both the Parent Contact Card as well as the Getting to Know You Form by clicking on the links.

I am looking forward to meeting you and working as partners together throughout this school year! Please join us for Kindergarten Orientation in our classroom, C-10, on Thursday August 28th at 9:00am. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to meet me, the other students in our class, and explore our classroom before the first day of school.
