BELIEFS:
All students are individuals and learn at their own pace.
All students can be academically successful and productive members of society.
All students have the right to a safe and high-quality instructional environment that supports and enhances academic achievement and leadership.
All students individual needs are considered in the planning and implementation of the school counseling program.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Castle Rock Middle School counseling program is to provide equitable access to a data-driven comprehensive school counseling program that helps all students become resilient life-long learners and responsible citizens in a diverse world. I collaborate with students, parents, staff and community members to address the academic, social/emotional and college/career preparatory needs of our student body. I advocate for access and success for every student. Students are encouraged and supported as they learn the skills necessary to navigate high school and beyond.
VISION STATEMENT:
The vision of the Castle Rock Middle School counseling program is that all students will realize their true value and worth as productive members of their community. They will demonstrate mastery of the critical academic, career, and social/emotional skills necessary for success in the 21st century. Through school-wide collaborative efforts and support from families and the Castle Rock community students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue their high school and post-secondary goals.
