Growing up I was always active but never found anything that was both challenging and diverse. That all changed when I started CrossFit about 9 years ago. In getting my first certification I was able to get a greater appreciation for the fundamentals. Building off that I have put this into practice coaching for the last 5 years. My focus has always been on technique and follow-thru. This helps to ensure proper progression not only with weights but with intensity and skill level in mind.
I am the quiet one of the group but will always be there to help and guide along our fitness journey together.

By day I am a mom of 2, and teacher! I run a cheerleading sports academy and teach grade 7/8. I started CrossFit in 2017; it quickly became my favourite sport.
I love being active, eating well and enjoying nature! I love hiking and finding ''healthy'' alternatives to good recipes! (Because eating healthy should be tasty too!)
My goal as a coach is to improve people's quality of life by working on their performance goals, but also on hardships or challenges such as injury, pregnancy, weight loss, etc.

As an Occupational Therapist I like to blend my rehab professional knowledge with my fitness knowledge of body mechanics, lifting technique and functional movement. I take my fitness outside regularly as I love to rock climb, backpack, kayak, rollerblade, mountain/road bike, cycle tour, and cross country ski. I spend most of my summers camping with my husband Marty and my two boys Rowan (15) and Elias (11).
As a long time athlete turned coach, I am excited to help others become their healthiest version of themselves.

My journey with CrossFit began back in 2012. I was immediately drawn to the community vibe and the friendly competition between athletes. I love to push myself in the gym and I strive to be a well rounded athlete. I knew when I found CrossFit that I had found a way to stay active and healthy during any and all seasons of my life. I love the methodology behind CrossFit and I truly don’t think there is a better way to stay fit. Now, as a coach, I get to witness athletes improve and gain confidence wherever they may be in their fitness journey and it is truly one of my favourite things!
Away from the gym, I’m a mom of 1 and a dog mom of 2. They keep me very busy, but if I’m not chasing them around you can probably find me somewhere in the mountains hiking almost anything.

I started my Crossfit Journey in 2017, it captured my heart and it aligned with what I was searching for to challenge both my mind and body. I started Coaching CF soon after, and learned the fundamentals of this sport.
As an International sports and exercise medical doctor and a neuroscientist, diving more into fitness and coaching helped me fill in the gaps between health and fitness. My vision is to see both worlds integrate as one, where physicians can prescribe exercise as medicine!
I was interviewed by the morning chalk up in 2019 and was named "the doctor who consults patients between burpees" where I shared more about this vision. Currently I'm trying to pursue this dream while I continue to Coach CrossFit.
In my free time I like to bike outside, hike the mountains, swim and join all the Spartan races!

I was introduced to CrossFit thirteen years ago as a seventeen-year-old, and it truly pathed my way in life more than I could ever have imagined! I started coaching in my very first CrossFit gym almost ten years ago and since then, I've worked in the Fitness Industry as an Affiliate owner, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Coach and Nutrition Coach. I am passionate about coaching others and being privileged enough to be a part of someone's journey toward better health and fitness-It truly is the best job in the world!
Outside of the gym, you can find me working out in a class, studying to get into a firefighting career, and spending time with my partner Shan and our fur baby (Nova). I am an Australian who lived in Banff for the past ten years, so typically I'll try to spend as much time as I can either by the water or in the mountains

My passion for sport and fitness started at a very young age. From school sports and curling to Billy Blanks workout tapes, I was always eager to move. After post-secondary when I started working full-time, fitness took a backseat. In need of a change, I decided to try CrossFit and was immediately hooked. The supportive community drew me in and the challenging workouts pushed me in ways I’d never experienced before. I loved that with each class I could see and feel my progress. Beyond the physical benefits, CrossFit also taught me mental toughness. Sometimes you read the WOD and think, “There’s no way I can do that.” But then, you do. Learning to push through doubt and believe in myself became a lesson that extended beyond the gym. Exercise isn’t just about physical strength; it’s a powerful tool for overall well-being.
As a coach, I am excited to be able to share my knowledge and past experiences to help others work towards long term health and wellness.

Fitness has been a cornerstone of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up playing softball and discovering CrossFit at the age of 10, I quickly fell in love with the sport and its ability to empower everyone, regardless of their starting point. My passion lies in heavy lifting and functional movements.
I am currently pursuing a Personal Fitness Trainer diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), a program that combines hands-on physical training with knowledge in nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
Additionally, I have been working as a physiotherapist assistant for over a year, assisting physiotherapists in implementing treatment programs designed to improve or maintain clients’ abilities to function independently. This experience has sharpened my eye for proper form, injury prevention, and movement mechanics, enabling me to create safe and effective training environments for everyone.
Fitness is more than a passion for me—it’s a way of life. I’m excited to share my knowledge, support others on their fitness journeys, and continue learning and growing within the incredible CrossFit community.
