Counselors will provide classroom guidance lessons to students in grades 6-8 that will focus on exploring be working with students in grades 6-8 to create individual student success plans. The objective of the student success plans is to help students begin to think in depth about and explore their academic, personal-social, and future career development. We are using Xello, a web-based program, to have students in grades 6-8 create their success plans in an electronic portfolio.
We will be introducing Xello to grades 6-8, as it is our new platform in 2022-2023. Grade 6-8 students will all take a Mathmaker Quiz, an interest inventory assessment designed to match students' interests with potential career paths.
