Our Story

Croatian School of Boston is a non-profit educational organization founded in 2009. It grew out of the former Croatian Language and Culture Program (2007-2009) which operated under New England Friends of Croatia.

Our Vision: “A New England where everyone, especially Croatian Americans, has access to Croatian language education including cultural programming and social and community gatherings.” 

Our Mission: “The Croatian School of Boston provides high-quality Croatian language education to children and adults across New England. We believe language is the foundation of our identity and culture is the purpose; through dedicated instruction, we connect generations, foster a deep sense of belonging, and strengthen our regional community.”
