I invite everyone to spread the message and do the first steps to building a sustainable planet at home by creating a composter at home for your garden or if you just wish to create rich soil for other reasons.
So, the first step Is by grabbing any container that is at least 2 Square feet in volume, any bigger is no problem. Then make some holes on the bottom of the container for drainage of excess water. You are all set, now just put an inch of dirt on the bottom and put an inch of your food leftovers or stuff like banana peels, avoid bones or meat. Immediately put another inch of soil on top. then keep layering when you put scraps of food every day. Every 2 weeks mix everything well and make sure the soil is moist, if needed add water. This is the method I chose.
Pros
-easy maintainable
-mobile
Cons
-small amount
The first is to make a hole in the ground of about 1 meter in diameter and 1 meter in depth. You are all set, now just put your food leftovers or stuff like banana peels, avoid bones or meat. Immediately put an inch of soil on top. then keep layering when you put scraps of food every day. Make a lid to cover the hole every time you don't need it to be open.
Pros
-large amount
-easy maintainable
Cons
-big hole to watch out
-need to make a protective screen so you don't fall
