Click the buttons on the side to learn about how birthdays are celebrated all around the world. (You can also check your classroom or the Cresskill library for any nonfiction books about birthdays.) Fill in your passport with each country you visit. Name the country and then write one thing that you learned. You can draw a picture to go along with the fact as well. If a specific tradition catches your interest, feel free to learn more about it on your own!
**When you've learned about at least eight countries, create your own birthday tradition and share it with your class. Come up with a way to present your idea and what tradition(s) inspired you--a poster, a Google Slides, presentation, a very brief video--it's completely up to you! **
