This is the fast-track to starting your own recordings or setting up your own home studio. You get a 12-week intensive course with our experienced Diploma lecturers and the chance to benefit from our state-of-the-art facilities.
Classes are based around an interactive and hands-on teaching style with practical assignments which will ensure you can execute fundamental recording tasks upon your completion of the course. Subjects start from microphone and sound theory and go all the way through to introduction of mixing and mastering. This course is great for songwriters who want to start recording on their own, anyone who is looking at making their own home studio or even hobbyists who want to take their passion to the next level.

The Electronic Music Production or EMP program is a series of short modules that cover the essentials of Electronic Music Production (EMP), which are ‘Create’, ‘Program’, ‘Arrange’ and ‘Mix’. Classes are set within a creative and interactive learning environment that aims to advance your technical skills and enhance your passion for music. With our interactive style of classes, it doesn't matter if you are a total beginner or looking to take your bedroom productions to the next level. We encourage our students to share with their peers and get as much out of our experienced guest and full-time lecturers as possible.
We use Ableton as the primary DAW for the EMP course however the theory remains the same and you can translate that knowledge to any other DAW.
All musical tastes and background are welcome!

Modern sound reproduction technology has allowed the once humble turntable and CD player to develop into an exciting range of equipment, permitting a wide range of tasks from mixing and scratching to professional remix productions and break beats, often with the same equipment found in high end studios.
The world of dance music has grown into a massive genre; employing thousands of musicians, composers, and engineers and of course DJ’s. In order to fully explore the skills necessary to become a professional DJ, we have brought together skilled professionals from the entertainment industry who will offer a wide variety of their own creative input to your education.
Our course takes a holistic approach to DJ and covers all aspects of art of DJ and the gig so you will also go through the technical basics of equipment and sound theory.
