Are you fascinated by the mechanics of recording, mixing and reproducing sound, whether it be for films, music or video games? If so then a promising career in the field of Audio Technology awaits you. Our diploma course is structured to provide a high level of technical expertise, operational skills in a variety of audio production environments, and a practical knowledge of the media industries’ working practices over a three year duration. Students study the underlying audio signal chain, and across a wide variety of platforms where students are expected to actually produce music, record a band, design sound scape for a film, plan acoustics for a studio, etc. The course is continually revised to keep up with industry developments and also draws on the experience and input of industry professionals working at the cutting edge.

Diploma in Audio Engineering

Study all aspects of modern audio engineering and prepare for a career as audio professionals in various fields. A unique combination of theoretical study, practical classes and hands-on studio time will give you thorough knowledge of a broad range of topics related to audio production and how the music industry works. You will have access to industry standard professional hardware and software, including large format consoles, control surfaces, hardware and software processors and of course a digital audio workstation.

Practical assignments are varied and are designed to test you in many areas, including band recordings, post-production, audio editing, mixing, electronic music production, audio restoration, etc. For musicians, practical assignments give them an opportunity to record their own music, alternately you are encouraged to bring in outside talent to record for your assignments. You will have access to our entire facility which is open 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and the rest is up to you!
