Meet the team
Our interdisciplinary team, comprising experts from various fields, contributes essential expertise to the SLOW SUMER project. With backgrounds in archaeology, philology, paleo-environmental studies, social sciences, and advanced analytical techniques, we are dedicated to exploring the complexities of ancient Sumerian society. Our collaborative efforts aim to illuminate how the cultural, environmental, and societal dynamics of third millennium BC Mesopotamia are related to practices of repairing, reusing, and recycling.
