Senator Bryan King - Senate District 28
Bryan King is a lifelong resident of Green Forest in Carroll County and a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where he earned his degree in Agricultural Business. A small business owner and poultry farmer, Bryan has long been rooted in the values of rural Arkansas. He has represented his community in both the Arkansas House of Representatives and the Arkansas Senate, where he is known for his independence and willingness to ask tough questions. Throughout his service, Bryan has focused on fiscal responsibility, government accountability, and protecting the interests of rural communities. He has served on key committees overseeing budget, agriculture, and legislative auditing, consistently working to ensure transparency and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. He has been fighting for public safety reform since 2017, and continues with that work today by helping to show Arkansas taxpayers the danger of moving forward with the proposed Franklin County Prison.
On The Issues - Senator King was one of five legislators to recieve Conduit News' Calvin Coolidge Award, "honoring the top Conservative champions in the Arkansas State Senate. These awards are presented to Arkansas legislators who fought for economic freedom in the recent legislative session and are based solely on their voting records." ~ Conduit News

“Because you can’t take care of one and not take care of the other. Because if we don’t do something about the crime and stop it on the front end, we’re going to be prison poor. I mean, we’re going to just build another prison, fill it up, another prison, fill it up. We cannot continue on this path.” ~ Steve Brawner, Talk Business and Politics
