Overview:
NVISION® Roseville is seeking an Optometrist for our expanding refractive surgery practice. Our Optometrists play
a valuable role in refractive surgery care and we’re looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to grow with us.
This is an exciting opportunity for an optometrist to work in an established ophthalmology practice with a passion
for refractive surgery. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with highly experienced professionals
in the refractive surgery space.
Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
In collaboration with our Ophthalmologist, ensures the best patient care for all surgical patients.
Work with the technicians to improve efficiencies in testing and patient work up, in addition to ensuring
accurate patient refractions.
Follows the clinical standards of care for the center, including, but not limited to: operating practices and
procedure, incident tracking/reporting, quality maintenance, surgical protocol, updating medication
protocol, patient, and occupational health and safety.
Interacts with clinic and surgeon to ensure full communication between the surgeon and the staff in areas
of surgical protocol, patient management and medication schedule.
Performs pre and post-operative care for patients at center and assists surgeon with pre and post-
operative care should complications arise.
Follows-up with co-managing/referring doctors regarding patient status and results.
Defines and reports any clinical incidents as necessary.
Qualifications:
Licensed Optometrist in the state of California
Cataract and LASIK experience, preferred
Desire to be an integral part in providing an exceptional patient experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred but not required
