This is my second year at J.T. Barber. Before that I taught 4th grade at Graham A Barden. I was born and raised in southeastern Ohio. If you have heard of Kings Island, you were a hop, skip, and a jump from my tiny hometown of approximately 3000 people. I originally went to school at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) where I began studying anthropology before changing majors to education. From there I moved to Hawaii and that began my hopping about and living in some wonderful places all over the country. When I am not in the classroom, I love doing art, traveling, and taking photos along the way. If I can stay awake after a long day at school, I love to curl up with a good book.
