FOURTH GRADE
Meet Mrs. Costello
Hello! I am Mrs. Costello... aka Mrs. C, Mrs. Unicorn, and from two classes ago, Mrs. Costalien.
This is my fourth grade at Graham A. Barden. I was born and raised in southeastern Ohio. If you have heard of Kings Island, you were a hop, skip, and a jump from my tiny hometown of approximately 3000 people. I originally went to school at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) where I began studying anthropology before changing majors to education. From there I moved to Hawaii and that began my hopping about and living in some wonderful places all over the country. When I am not in the classroom, I love doing art, traveling, and taking photos along the way. If I can stay awake after a long day at school, I love to curl up with a good book.
Each day we begin with a morning meeting. We discuss how we are doing/feeling and have a quick lesson on something related to social emotional learning. We always end it with the last two images below that the children shouted it out to motivate themselves and start the day off right.
