Teams can use this information to look up who they will be competing with/against. This is very useful in planning out your match strategies and determining good alliance partner pairings.

Teams are not ranked in the traditional way based on your Win - Loss ratio. Since two teams are playing simultaneously and are working cooperatively to score points, there is no winner or loser in a match. Instead, teams are ranked based on their average match score. The top 16 teams are guaranteed entry into the finals. In the finals, teams will get automatically paired up with another team to create an "Alliance" and they will get one chance to score as many points as possible. The Alliance who scores the most points; in their one match, will win their division and move on to the overall finals in the VEX Arena.
