Juniors and Seniors are able to take Vo-Tech at Maryville. Vo-Tech takes the place of four of the credit hours out of their daily schedule. Students will be transported to Maryville by the school. This will require them to get to school before the regularly scheduled time. It is the responsibility of the student to inform Vo-Tech and the bus driver if they know ahead of time that they will not be attending on a specific day. Attendance is important. Students will not miss more than 5 days per semester. If a student has more than 5 absences in one semester, they will be removed from the Vo-Tech program at 10 the start of the next quarter. Absences where a student provides a doctor’s note will not count towards this total. Appeals can be made to the school principal within 7 days of receiving notice of pending removal from the Vo-Tech program.
