Confirmation, like any sacrament, is normally held in the parish church during a normal celebration of the parish liturgy. Within the church, it takes place at the front, in front of the altar. (Boyd, 2021)
Confirmation Stole - Confirmation stoles are a type of garment worn during the confirmation ceremony in some Christian traditions. The stole is a long, narrow strip of fabric that is worn over the shoulders, and it is often decorated with religious symbols or designs. (Stoles, n.d.)
Consideration must be given to the required inculcative of the Church. Candidates with disability or impairment must be able to access the church and the alter for confirmation. Adjustments and considerations for seating and movement in and around the church.
Candidates with disability, impairment or need for consideration must be consulted on the reasonable adjustments to be made to ensure their accessibility to the Sacrament of Confirmation.
