What is Global Education.mov

What is Global Education?

Global Education is a way to prepare students with skills to help them navigate their careers in the 21st Century. In Massachusetts, there has been a 121% increase in jobs relating to international trade over the last 20 years (asiasociety.org) This resource is a tool to help you find information to help incorporate global education in your classroom. If you want to know why it is important to incorporate a global education, watch the video I made on the left!

Why is it important for Chelmsford?

The mission statement at Chelmsford High School is "to cultivate inspired, creative, and well-rounded lifelong learners who possess the integrity and self-direction necessary to be contributing community members." Global education is a guide to help meet those needs. By modeling how to investigate the world, recognize perspective, communicate ideas and take action, we can foster the development of life-long learners who can be a contributing member of our community.
