Welcome to Grant music class! 

I grew up in Columbia, Missouri, received my undergraduate degree in Music Education and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Kodaly Levels I, II and III Certification from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and Orff Levels I, II and III Certification from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis. It was my pleasure to attend the Orff Institute in Salzburg in the Summer of 2025 and serve as an apprentice for Paul Weller at the Portland Orff Levels during the Summer of 2026 as I continue my journey as a teacher educator. 

I have enjoyed teaching K-12 music and band classes in Missouri for the past 25 years. I have two silly children, two large dogs and several  cows. When I am not teaching at Grant Elementary School, you can find me teaching a variety of group fitness classes at CRUNCH fitness. More than anything, I love to sing, play, laugh and dance.
