SERVICES
The TRC staff maintains a welcoming facility for all CPS educators. Educators from around the district are encouraged to come to the TRC to meet, plan, check out resources and equipment, obtain research and curation assistance, learn how to access, use and integrate CPS library resources and TRC equipment, get support with CPS approved media-making tools, suggest acquisitions, copy, print in color, enlarge 8.5 x 11 text documents to poster-size and more!

The TRC staff can support you with:
Research
To support individual professional learning, curriculum development and professional learning session/course development
Curation
Including recommendations for, and location of, videos, readings, websites, audio and still image content
Circulation
Of media-making & presentation equipment, books, audiobooks, DVDs, curriculum kits and and assistance obtaining e-resources (e-books, streaming media)
Circulation
Of media-making & presentation equipment, books, audiobooks, DVDs, curriculum kits and and assistance obtaining e-resources (e-books, streaming media)
Collection Development
Collaborative collection development with classroom educators, coaches and administrators
Instruction/Instructional Design
Individual and group instruction around TRC resources, CPS library department resources and CPS media-making resources
Co-plan and/or co-lead Choice courses/sessions and other professional learning activities focusing on accessing and integrating TRC/library resources
Video Production
Recording of special events at CRLS, on site professional learning, and limited, local off-site professional learning events by request/availability
Recording and editing of client-scripted content to support/promote professional learning and student facing initiatives/programs
