Junior Kindergarten and

Kindergarten

Kids can do incredible things. They will lead the way!

No matter how old your children are, they are probably sensing that something’s up these days. You might be seeing more tantrums or more clinginess. Now, more than ever, it’s important to tune in to children’s thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Learning doesn’t happen because of a great lesson plan. It happens because of great relationships. Just like when you’re at school, there is no “wrong” way to learn. Following kids’ interests and building on their curiosities is the path to real, lifelong learning--and having fun along the way!

Our goal for learning is for your child to engage in learning for about half of our school day. This can be done by following your child's lead or engaging in activities from our weekly schedule!

  • Help clear the table after meal time

Nature Appreciation:

Nature does wonders for the soul and mind

  • Work in a garden

  • Grow something in a pot

  • Go on a Nature walk

    • Simply walk around your neighborhood and see what you and your child notice

  • Be outside as much as you can

  • Draw letter and numbers in the dirt with a stick

  • collect rocks and sticks and create something

Self help skills:

Encourage a child to be independent. They can practice:
