For reservations on weekdays between 7:30am and 2:30pm any CPSD employee can independently reserve Library Room 1 and Library Room 2 via our Calendar page. To reserve Library Room 3 during school hours or to reserve any library spaces outside of the regular school hours, please contact the library staff: crls_library@cpsd.us.

Our school's address is 459 Broadway, which is about a 10 minute walk from the Harvard T stop. If you're coming in a car, you will need to pay to park in the metered parking spots or the Cambridge Public Library's underground parking garage. The entrance to the school building faces the park and the public library. As soon as you enter the doors, go to the security desk on your immediate left and sign in.

The library is located on the 2nd floor of the Rindge building, which is the main campus building. After signing in at the security desk, walk up the closest stairwell to the 2nd floor. Turn left, walk to the end of the hallway, and then turn right. You will see the library's entrance just a short distance ahead.

What technology and resources are available?
What technology and resources are available?
The library has three presentation spaces available:
Library Space 1: Library Room 1 is located in the far left corner of the library (formerly the Fiction Room) and can comfortably seat 22 people. The room is equipped with an interactive Whiteboard, LCD projector with speakers and a hookup for a presenter computer.
NOTE: There is NO presenter computer. Please bring your own device.
Library Space 2: Library Room 2 is located in the main room of the library (formerly the Computer Space) and can comfortably seat 29 people. The room is equipped with 29 desktop computers, an interactive Whiteboard, LCD projector with speakers and a hookup for a presenter computer. The desktop computers print to a black and white printer and color printer.
NOTE: There is NO teacher computer. Please bring your own device.
Library Space 3: Library Room 3 is "view only" to CRLS staff and guests. Please contact the library staff if you are interested in reserving the space. Library Room 3 is located on the right side of the library's main room (formerly the Reference Room). The room is equipped with a rolling whiteboard, electronic (pull-down) screen, teacher desktop computer, LCD projector and speakers.

Cambridge Public School Employees: There are two wifi networks available to CPS employees, CPS and CRLS. Both networks can be accessed on personal laptops or school issued devices. CPS employees can logon to both networks using their CPS usernames (FirstNameInitialLastName; KBoninti) and passwords.
Step 1: Select the CPS wifi network or the CRLS wifi network
Step 2: Type your CPS username and password when prompted

Step 2: Click on your preferred Internet browser and start searching the web

Please return the library furniture to its original configuration. If you have used the retractable projector screen in Library Room 3, please leave it lowered. Turn off the lights, shut the doors, and stop by the security desk on the 1st floor to ask them to lock the library doors.
