Library Day 1 Goals: Locate and Cite Sources in NoodleTools

AGENDA:

  1. NoodleTools: Create a new account, create a new project, share project with teacher, type research question in the Noodle Tools Dashboard, cite a database (15 min)
  2. Review overview article (highlight key terms) research assignment (format and guiding questions) and (15 min)
  3. Locate credible sources with evidence to support your research question. Use the C.R.A.P. Test when evaluating a source's credibility and appropriateness for research (40min)
  4. Cite a website in NoodleTools (5 min)

Library Day 2 Goal: Take Notes

AGENDA:

  1. Noodle Tools Note-taking (20 min)
      • Read and take notes on your first two sources (at least 2 notes per source)
  2. Locate and cite credible sources with evidence to support your research question. Take notes. (60 min)

Day 3 Goal: Locate Primary Sources and Take Notes
