You might not know this, but over the last 10 weeks, some of our fifth graders have been meeting on Tuesday afternoons writing for Haggerty Now, the Haggerty School Newspaper. We are super excited to share our Distance Learning Edition with you.

We hope that you'll find something delicious to make, a good book to read or an activity to try at home. There are compelling opinion pieces and stories, and several comics to put smiles on your faces.

It was a pleasure to work with the fifth graders and to share in their enthusiasm for producing a virtual newspaper during Covid-19/time away from the Haggerty building. We would like to thank Ms. Carroll Magill for the time and energy she put into making the students’ work look like a real newspaper!
