Synchronous Learning: This learning is in real time. Students must log on to teacher synchronous sessions for their learning. Students are advised to log on five minutes early to "arrive on time for class." Students must show their videos.
Asynchronous Learning: This learning is independent learning. Students are expected to complete assigned learning tasks and stay in communication with teachers through CPS accounts (i.e., email, Schoology, Synergy).
One-on-One / Small Group: This is an optional session if students and teachers need additional time; if not, students are expected to complete asynchronous learning tasks.
Once you receive your schedule, determine which bell you will have each class, and whether it will be synchronous or asynchronous, and then create a schedule for yourself. Have fun with it! And to help, we've provided you with four short videos to walk you through logging on to your CPS accounts and understanding the virtual bell schedule.
