Mrs. Gerena-Franco

Ms. Gerena-Franco, aka "Ms. Franco," has been teaching computer science for 10+ years in Chicago Public Schools. Not only does she teach the wonderful students of Whitney Young, but she also mentors new Comp Sci Teachers in the Chicagoland Area. Her teaching philosophy focuses on collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking.  She is currently teaching Exploring Computer Science,  AP Computer Science Principles, and the Comp Sci Senior Experience.
