The Student Services Department provides support for students in a variety of areas and includes the following:
Kelly Counseling Team -Every student is assigned to one of seven counselors, who will support the student and family throughout their four years at Oak Lawn. Counselors focus on the emotional, social, educational and career development needs of students. An important focus of the counselor’s services is academic counseling postsecondary education.
College and Career Team – The college and career team help students to establish accurate self-awareness, explore careers, make tentative career decisions and formulate post-high school plans. The college and career counselors serves as a resource for students, parents, and teachers. They'll coordinate the many college awareness programs and makes numerous resources available to students (i.e. internships, job shadowing, career treks, and paid job experiences).
