PAWS Chicago is a national model in animal sheltering, committed to bringing an end to the killing of homeless cats and dogs. They do this by rehabilitating orphaned and injured animals, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating the community to inspire compassionate action for animals.
From humble beginnings, the AHA has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites our more than 35 million volunteers and supporters as well as our more than 2,900 employees.
The UIC Children’s Center provides high quality early childhood education and childcare to preschool aged children of current UIC students, faculty, and staff in an on campus location.
