The Academic Works online scholarship application system and management tool provides information about scholarship opportunities specifically for CPS students.

Each school year, senior students are required to complete the General Application within the Academic Works tool to access and apply for scholarship opportunities. Here is a link to the portal.

EMT ILLINOIS AND WISCONSIN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP:

Students attending the UNCF Empower Me Tour have a chance to qualify for the EMT ILLINOIS AND WISCONSIN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP!

Please provide the following when applying for the scholarship:

1. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher demonstrated on most recent HS transcript

2. One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor

3. An essay of 500 words or less on “How The Scholarship Will Help You"

Once a student registers for the UNCF Empower Me Tour (register at empowermetour.org), they will receive a link to our electronic scholarship application page. Students will then be able to submit the above referenced documentation (transcript, recommendation letter, and essay) to apply for the EMT Merit Scholarship. Students that are selected as winners, will be contacted with instructions for the next phase of the application process.

All applications are due by October 19, 2020 and you MUST attend EMT on November 7th to receive the scholarship if selected as a winner.
