GoCPS Kindergarten Applications (SY25 info)

All students have a guaranteed seat at their neighborhood school based on their Chicago street addresses and no application is required. To find out what your neighborhood school is, please enter your address in the CPS school locator.

GoCPS Testing Information for Gifted and Classical Programs (SY25 info)

- - The deadline for submitting an application with a scheduled test is November 15 at 5pm. Applications can be submitted multiple times.
  - Kindergarten testing starts in October until January. Test dates are during the week (usually Tues/Thurs/Fri) and start times can be as early as 8am and as late as 4pm. All testing takes place at IIT (10 West 35th Street, Chicago 60616)
  - You must completely submit the application within an hour of scheduling an event or the session you initially book will be canceled!
  - A new application receipt will be generated every time a change is made to the application.
