About Me

 Hi, I'm Liza Reed and I'm so excited to be your school counselor! I've been with CPS for over 20 years, 10 years at Budlong (PreK-8), 9 years at Rudolph (PreK-8) and now at Catalpa since opening in the Fall of 2022. I love working with kids, families and teachers to help them out as much as I can. I believe social emotional education in the formative early years is so important to set the foundation of kids' characters and I can't wait to work with the students and all of you.

A little about me, I moved here from Phoenix with my husband of over 20 years back in 2003. Before that I lived in many different places, including Pennsylvania,  Downers Grove, Alabama and upstate New York.  We have 2 kids, Audrey (15) and Alex (9) who we adopted from the Philippines. We love to travel together,  explore the outdoors, and spend time with our extended family.
