Vision

The Benjamin E. May's Academy’s Counseling Program's vision is to provide equity and access to all scholars. We envision an environment that includes advocacy for all scholars by enhancing the overall school climate through the facilitation of well planned, rigorous learning activities in a collaborative environment. We will operate in excellence, maximizing every scholar’s social, academic, and career development potential to produce responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

Mission

Benjamin E. Mays Academy counseling program's mission is to give scholars help, hope, and equitable opportunities by removing barriers and providing a safe and nurturing environment. We will promote social success through school and community partnerships which align with the state, district, and school's mission statement.
