Classes at Mary Lyon school begin promptly at 8:30 am for all students and will end at 3:30 pm.
Attendance will the be taken multiple times throughout the day.
Students are expected to have their camera on, sit upright, dress as if they are in school (please have them wear their Mary Lyon uniform)
Students will receive live, real-time instruction each day. The remainder of their school day will consist of learning activities including check-ins with teachers or small group instruction, independent learning activities including self-directed projects, assignments, and physical activity.
Pre-K: 60 minutes of real-time instruction ( one hour live with teachers) and 90 minutes of learning activities
Grades K-2: 180 minutes of real-time instruction (3 hours live with teachers) and 180 minutes of learning activities
Grades 3-5: 205 minutes of real-time instruction (3.5 hours live with teachers) and 155 minutes of learning activities
Grades 6-8: 230 minutes of real-time instruction (Approximately 4 hours live with teachers) and 130 minutes of learning activities
Classroom teachers will provide a detailed remote learning schedule for your child.
