We're a brand-new cheer team, proud to join the legacy of excellence at Lane. Our athletes don’t just cheer, they lead by example—both on the sidelines and in the classroom. With a passion for pushing the limits in competitive cheerleading, we work hard to deliver high-energy performances that showcase skill, precision, and teamwork.

Our cheerleaders are champions in the classroom, active members of the community, and fierce competitors who give their all to represent our school with pride.

We’re building a team that embodies dedication, respect, and unity, where every cheer, jump, and stunt is a celebration of hard work and heart.

About Coach Liz

My athletic journey began at age 7 with gymnastics, but it wasn’t long before I tumbled into the world of cheerleading through the Chicago Bulls youth program, the Jr. Luvabulls. Never one to stick to just one passion, I thrived on variety throughout school—cheering for my school’s football team, shining on stage in spring musicals, and competing with both the Xtreme All-Stars and in IHSAA gymnastics during the winter months.

I earned my BA from Columbia College Chicago, had the incredible opportunity to study at Konkuk University, and even worked professionally in Seoul, South Korea! After three years in college recruiting, I returned to the U.S., pursued graduate studies at DePaul University, and found my true calling as a school counselor and I'm happily serving the students of Northwest Middle School.
