The Lincoln Park High School Dance Team made Chicago Public Schools history by qualifying for Nationals at Universal Dance Association Dance Camp on July 20th, 2022. The LPHS Dance Team continued to make history as they competed at the National level against teams from all over the United States in Orlando, FL in February, 2023. The LPHS Dance Team is currently ranked 6th in the Nation for Intermediate Jazz.

In addition to the National Dance Team Championships, the team had a very successful competition season. The team placed 1st in the 3A Division CPS Cheer and Dance Championships. The Nationally ranked, Back-to-Back City Champions have been practicing all summer with the hope to receive a bid to the 2024 National Dance Team Championships. Over the past week, the LPHS Dance Team performed their Home Routine at UDA Dance Camp. At camp, the team received a Superior Trophy, and a Home Routine Trophy and has done it again! The team has qualified for the 2024 National Dance Team Championships.

We are very excited about the momentum of the team, and look forward to continuing their success in the future! The LPHS Dance Team is over the moon excited for the opportunity to represent Chicago, CPS, and Lincoln Park High School on the National Stage!

The LPHS Varsity Poms team encompasses everything it means to be a LION. While we have built a solid Dance program, we still need help. Nationals seem somewhat out of reach due to costs and fees. We are trying to raise funds to help with the expenses associated with Nationals, travel, competitions, uniforms, camps and clinics, and to help provide financial assistance for student athletes in need. In donating you will be supporting a great cause - the continued development of our student athletes as dancers, and our program as a whole.
