Integrated Scope and Sequence
For the first time in 15 years, the district is recommending an integrated scope and sequence where students are exploring Earth, Life and Physical Science content in every year of middle school. Over the year, you'll notice we will explore all of these areas starting with physical science in 8th grade.

Most assignments students complete will be scored using the general scoring rubric to help students think about the expectation for assignments. In some instances a modified version of this rubric will be used to help students as they work on a specific science and engineering practice such as modeling or constructing scientific explanations.
