About me
Hello there! My name is Ms. Jaffe, and I'm so excited to be your Teacher at Washington! I spent time growing up in Stuttgart, Germany, and Washington D.C. before I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from Radford University. I taught in D.C. before moving to Chicago, where I earned an M.Ed in Secondary English Education from DePaul University. I'm back in school, currently working on my Doctorate in Curriculum Studies at DePaul University!
This year, I will be teaching TOK I and TOK II to our Juniors and Seniors, and Drama I to our 9th graders!
When I'm not teaching, I can either be found rock climbing, running, cooking, or playing with my kitten, Miku! My students will tell you that I am overly cheesy, obsess over Dystopian or Medieval literature, constantly drink coffee, and am always here for extra tutoring after school!
