DFSS Emergency Rental Assistance - Apply at one of the six Community Service Center Locations
Chicago Coordinated Entry System (CES)
City-wide process that serves as a front door to connect individuals and families facing homelessness to long-term housing and supports in an accessible, equitable, transparent manner.
Families (25+ head of household) are eligible if they are:
Living in a shelter, in a public place, or outside
Fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence
Text 773-786-9916 or visit connectmenow.org to complete a short survey to identify local resources; or
Visit csh.org/chicagoces for a complete list of Access Points and CES Assessment schedules.
Childcare
The office of Early Childhood Development and other partners throughout the state have established a child care structure and system to provide care for essential workers. Visit emergencycare.inccrra.org or text 312-736-7390 Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Sittercity is giving all Chicago parents working as a first responder or other essential personnel 3 free months of Sittercity Premium.
