This quarter, students will learn about different neighborhoods of La Paz, Bolivia, to identify what makes a place unique. They will then apply this knowledge to their own neighborhoods here in Chicago. We will focus our vocabulary around the verbs SER, TENER and HABER, as well as related adjectives and other vocabulary.
Quarter 1 Objectives: Novice HighÂ
Interpretive: I can identify the topic and some isolated facts from simple sentences in informational texts.
Interpersonal: I can exchange information about things to do in my city or neighborhood.
Presentational: I can describe where I go and what is in my neighborhood.
