We offer consultations, evaluations, devices, and training for students with disabilities and their support teams, based on referrals as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. Our goal is to help students access their curriculum when traditional methods are not effective. We may provide access to devices and tools that are not available at the school level, or we can train teams on how to use the tools they already have.
Complete the ATRC Incident Report (if broken or needing repair).
Pack all the student’s equipment including chargers and/or accessories in a box.
Use the ATRC Return Label to label the box. One half of the form should be placed in the box and the other half on top of the box.
Complete page 2 of the label titled: Warehouse Services Request Form to arrange for the equipment to be picked up from your school.
Scan and email your Warehouse Services Request to warehouseservices@cps.edu

Confirm that you have correctly identified the new CPS school that the student will be attending.
Pack all the student’s equipment, including the charger and/or accessories, in a box.
Complete the School to School Transfer label.
Place the right half of the label on the box with the shipping location. Place the other half of the label inside the box, and all relevant information and/or case notes that will support continued implementation at the next school.
Ship it to the new school via the CPS Warehouse Services.

Members of the AAC Tips Group will get email updates and tips on using AAC to access communication. (For District staff only)
