Tricky Words

Tricky words do not sound the way they are spelled. There are 44 words we ask students to memorize in Kindergarten. If a word can be decoded (sounded out and read), we do not ask students to memorize the word. Please refer to the tricky word page for specific words we have learned/will learn. We will be learning the tricky words 'from' and 'was' this week. These are the last words in Unit 8. Words beyond Unit 8 do not need to be studied at this time.
