How to Complete the Practice Tests:
Watch this video - CAASPP Practice Test Video Instructions or follow the steps below to complete your practice CAASPP tests for English, Math & Science.
Accessing Practice CAASPP Tests.mp4- Go to http://www.caaspp.org/
- Click on “Practice & Training Tests” icon.
3. Click on the green “Student Interface Practice and Training Tests” icon.
4. Leave all the information as is on the next screen and hit “Sign In”
5. Select your grade level and hit “Yes”
6. Select the Smarter Balanced ELA Test, Smarter Balanced Math Test, or CAST science test (5th, 8th and HS ONLY). You will need to scroll to the bottom to find the science test. Practice doing both the Practice Test & the Performance Task.
Note:
- 3rd-11th grade student complete the pink language arts and math SBAC tests
- 5th, 8th, 11th & 12th complete the grey and orange CAST tests
7. Leave everything as is on the next screen and hit “Select”. *Note: Refer to the universal tools below to see what each setting does.
8. Test your audio by hitting the play button and when you hear the sound hit “I could play the video and sound.”
9. Review any of the testing rules you would like and when you are ready select “Begin Test Now.”
10. Complete the test by reading all directions and answering all questions.
