Complete the modules below to learn how to be an AVID tutor. Each module will have a set of activities to complete in your Tutor Training packet (check your email). Any of the slides can be expanded. Don't forget to review the Tutor Resources at the bottom.

This module will take about an hour to complete, and goes over the basics of what AVID is and how the elective class works.

This module will take about two hours to complete, and covers information about what tutorials are, how they work, and everyone's role.

This module will take about an hour to complete, and provides an example of what a traditional and online tutorial looks like.

This module will take about 30 minutes to complete, and covers how to use the live session room tools and Google Doc drawing tools.

The final module will take about an hour to complete and covers weekly expectations for tutors, as well as logging hours and code of conduct.
