My goal is to give learner virtual environment in which we may engage with computers in the same way that we do in the real world, such as by conversing with a virtual person in a spoken language, writing letters, or painting a drawing. I've utilized a lot of helpful websites since starting the Instructional Technology program , and the majority of them were new to me. I used to explore any new feature to learn about its operation, and when I became confused, I would look for lessons on most sites or locate individuals on YouTube demonstrating what I needed.
In this project, I came up with a plan on how to apply the skills I learned how to give a visual representation of my process and decision to represent the desires of many people when it comes to building houses. Having the dimensions correctly and textures, as expected, challenged me to learn how to put my skills into practice.
VR has been commonly used in the learning sector and it has helped learners to get a better grasp of the content since they are fully involved in the learning experience. I think the argument that VR contributes to issues of culture business depends on the perspective taken to approach the issue. Using VR improves learning hence I have learned that when design instructional materials, I should be careful not to include materials that might influence the learners to beliefs and values towards a certain culture.
ETEC 692 :
In the internship, how to to use Canvas as a learning management system which includes the navigation of modules, quizzes, discussions, Evaluation ,get note and the grade book .Also,how to use WordPress LearnDash as an LMS. And how to create and publish online courses on the LearnDash LMS.Likewise,I worked on designing and migrating educational content that is currently used by teachers of world languages ( Arabic, Chinese and Persian) from an old LMS platform to a a new one.
ETEC 5460 :
WebQuest helped me to understand effective ways in which I can manage my classes and share them with my fellow instructors and my students as an instructor. This WebQuest platform has taught me about the basic rules which are necessary when I want to create an effective and great WebQuest to promote learning. I have to ensure that I find great sites, orchestrate learners and resources, challenge learners the think, Use the medium, and scaffold high expectations, incorporating such rules will make sure that learning is maximized. Besides, this class has taught me there are many ways into which technology can be incorporated into the classroom such as using WebQuest as one way of new learning styles. Using WebQuest in the classroom helps the teacher to increase learners’ motivation since it provides essential questions, real-life resources with which to work, and opportunities to work in cooperative groups.
I have learned that integrating technology into the classroom through WebQuest provides teachers and learners with an authentic, technology-rich environment for problem-solving by utilizing essential resources to capture the attention of the students.
