Course Reflection
The time-management project in ETEC 5440 helped me better understand how essential planning and organization are when working through the instructional design process. The course’s weekly modules, draft submissions, and peer review cycles required me to break tasks into smaller steps and manage my schedule effectively so I could stay on track with the ADDIE process and produce quality work. Collaboration also highlighted the importance of managing my time well. Since teamwork in this course is more than dividing tasks, being prepared and consistent allowed me to contribute meaningfully to group decisions and support my teammates during each project phase. Through this project, I became more aware of my work habits and developed stronger strategies such as setting earlier personal deadlines and using digital tools to organize tasks. Overall, the project strengthened both my academic and professional skills by showing me how effective time management supports successful instructional design work.
