How Can I Be Recommended for Testing?
At the high school level, students can be recommended for the REACH program through the following ways: Parent Recommendation, Teacher Recommendation, or Self Recommendation.
During the referral window you can request the following paperwork from your school’s gifted lead teacher (Michelle Rogers at michelle.rogers@cowetaschools.net): Biographical Information, Referral for Consideration, and a Permission to Test Form.
A committee of teachers, counselors, and administrators will meet to determine who should be tested based on the following: Grades, Test Scores, and Teacher Feedback.
