My goal is to help your child learn at a high level.

Homework/Missed Work Policy/Repair Opportunity (remediation): The purpose of homework is to reinforce skills taught in class and should take no longer than 40 minutes.
Homework will interchangeably consist of reading and math.
Homework is written by students in their agendas or calendars.
Homework will be checked in class and used as a teaching tool.
On Friday, any missed assignments will be sent home to be completed and turned in on Monday.
Students are responsible for completing work when they are absent. For planned absences, parents should contact me to arrange for the assignments prior to the absence.
Students have 3 days to make up homework in each subject area.
Students will receive remediation/repair opportunity on failing assignments during office hours only. Parents can contact me regarding the assignment.
Late assignments cannot be accepted after the end of the nine weeks in which they were assigned. Assignments not completed and turned in by deadline will be recorded as “Missing” and calculated as a zero in the Infinite Campus gradebook. Once the work is complete, it will be graded, the “Missing” notification will be changed to a grade.
