Melissa Weeks

Melissa is a Tracking Technician, Tracking Evaluator, the lead instructor for Tracking Team Operations, and an adjunct VDEM instructor. She is certified as a Search Team Member, Search Team Leader, and Management Team Member with membership in Black Diamond SAR and Search & Rescue Tracking Institute (SARTI).  Melissa has taught many SAR-related classes, including Introduction to Tracking, Interviewing for SAR, Land Navigation, and Advanced Human Tracking. In addition to serving with Crisis Response International (disaster response) since 2009, Melissa has been privileged to serve the Virginia SAR program for the past 11 years.
